Let's face it: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was a massive hit because everybody's parents went to see it instead of facing the likes of Chronicle or Ghost Rider or Kill List. True, it's a somewhat charming little movie, but there was no pretending that the whole film didn't exist as a means for "all the old British actors" going on a nice little holiday together. And presumably they've all signed on for another flick because they all wanted another free trip. You can't blame them, really. So, yes, all the "olds" from the first film are back again for this follow-up, including the likes of Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith and Tom Wilkinson. Also, this time around: Richard Gere, apparently. Which, we can't deny, is such a strange addition to the cast that it almost makes the thought of this flick intriguing. Almost. He's set to play a character called "Guy Chambers," which is cool. Your nan will love this.
