10 X-Men Characters We Want To See In Fox's Gambit
Gambit is going solo, but that doesn't mean we can't hope for a few familiar faces.
Production is finally about to get underway on Channing Tatum's Gambit movie, with Edge Of Tomorrow and Bourne Identity's Doug Liman settling into the warm spot of Rupert Wyatt's vacant director's chair. We already know that Gambit will be acting independently of the main X-Men series, and that rather than an epic fight between friends, rivals and external forces, it will be a heist movie. If there's one thing the X-Men movies have never been shy about, it's cramming in the mutants as either cameos or anthropomorphic MacGuffins. It's safe to assume then that Gambit will be no different, bringing in some fan pleasing cameos and possibly even rehabilitating some of the characters that were so poorly served by X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine now that the events of those two films have been completely expunged from history by the new timeline established at the end of Days Of Future Past. Fox now has a prime opportunity to continue to right the wrongs of the past and open the door for more mutants than ever before to get in n the uncanny act, so who exactly should appear alongside the ragin' cajun in Gambit?
