10 YouTube Film Critics You Need To Be Watching
7. Red Letter Media
You might be aware of Red Letter Media from their ground-breaking reviews of George Lucas' Star Wars prequels, where they created the iconic Internet character Mr. Plinkett.
Since then, they've become more conventional YouTube movie critics, albeit still retaining their own demented twist on the usual review format.
Their immensely popular Half in the Bag series reviews current releases in a long-form format, often with skit-like interludes and always with a wealth of off-the-wall take-downs of said films. Their re:View series, meanwhile, covers older releases.
If you like a side order of crazy with your film criticism, these guys are an absolute must. Sure, their videos are in no way concise, but they're a great way to kill time on the commute or during your lunch break.
