With rumours continuing to rise that Hugh Jackman will hang up his claws in the near future and allow someone else to take over the Wolverine character, it would be prudent for Marvel to attempt to broker a deal with Fox to recast him and borrow the rights for the MCU. Fox will hopefully realise that rebooting Wolverine again would be foolish, especially given Jackman's popularity in the role (to the extent that he survived an awful prequel) and that it would make a lot more sense to introduce the character (without a reboot) into the MCU to join up with the Avengers. Officially, Manganiello has appeared in Marvel films before, having played Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man series, but he wasn't quite the finished article back then, and his current physique and his brooding acting style make him the ideal solution for how to recast Hugh Jackman.
