6. Michael Jai White Is... Luke Cage
I've always been baffled as to why Michael Jai White isn't a huge star. When the Green Lantern movie was in its early stages, he was being considered to play John Stewart in a cameo. But that never came to fruition, and we were robbed of that opportunity. His minor part in The Dark Knight, his powerful presence in Why Did I Get Married, and his hilarious turn in Black Dynamite make him an obvious choice for Luke Cage (don't call him Power Man, he hates that). He's just a mountain of a man, and - best of all -he sounds like Luke Cage. A Heroes For Hire movie could really prove itself to be a star-making vehicle for him. Although he's been around a lot longer, it could do for him what Thor did for Chris Hemsworth. Luke Cage has superhuman strength and durability. Michael Jai White looks the part of a superhuman, and his ridiculous fighting skills have been showcased in the aforementioned Black Dynamite, Never Back Down, and Bad To The Bone. Watch those movies - he's absolutely brutal. C'mon - he's got Marvel action hero written all over him.
