It’s kind of a shame that the Potter films made the decision to dub in the voices of the actor who’s being transformed whenever Polyjuice potion is used, because we only get half of a performance from the actor playing the disguise.

It would have been fun to hear Helena Bonham Carter mimicking Hermione’s speech patterns. Instead, we get a lip-sync battle.

That being said, HBC gives it her all with the physical side of the performance, showing the boiling nerves and sheer panic that would naturally come with stepping into the skin of a cackling maniac who has a fangirl crush on a noseless snake person.
