Mode Of Body Swap: Neural Net backup into Borg implants

Star Trek again! Look, when a franchise is in the 7th season of it’s 4th series, there’s bound to be one or two conceptually similar episodes. This isn’t even Voyager’s only body-swap ‘sode. But it is probably the best of any Star Trek series.

For fear of being deleted by the alien bad guys of the week, Voyager’s holographic Doctor hides, for lack of a better term, inside Seven of Nine’s body by uploading his program into her cybernetic Borg implants. Once he does this, he takes control. Being in a flesh-and-blood body for the first time, The Doctor experiences human sensory perception for the first time and immediately goes HAM on some cheesecake and wine. Wouldn’t you?

At this point in the series, The Doctor and Seven of Nine have basically become the main characters of the show, with the two often getting paired together for various adventures. Jeri Ryan steps into her co-star's role like it’s second nature, and the results are hilarious. It’s just a shame we never got to see Robert Picardo’s take on Seven.
