1. The Joker Is Bruce Wayne's Illegitimate Brother - Joker

Though the upcoming Joaquin Phoenix-starring Joker movie is going to largely serve as a standalone outing for the Clown Prince of Crime, the fact that the movie has cast actors to play Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce's father Thomas makes it clear it's also firmly rooting itself in the Caped Crusader's world.

This crazy theory claims that the movie will reveal Phoenix's Arthur Fleck to be the illegitimate brother of Bruce Wayne, having been fathered by Thomas in an extra-marital affair.

The evidence? Beyond an ambitious hunch, set photos have shown Fleck waiting outside Wayne's building and looking rejected after being assaulted, perhaps suggesting he wanted to try and connect with his father.

It's perhaps more probable that Fleck only thinks he's related to Wayne, and this is simply a delusion caused by his obvious mental health issue. Don't be surprised if Arthur's parentage is a plot point, but him actually turning out to be Bruce's half-brother seems rather improbable.
