5. Nakia
When we last saw Nakia in last year's Black Panther, she was by T'Challa's side when the king decided to open Wakanda up to the rest of the world in front of the United Nations. After that, however, when T'Challa and Wakanda returned for Infinity War, Nakia was nowhere to be found.
Though characters like Okoye, Shuri, and M'Baku all teamed up with Black Panther and the Avengers during the assault on Wakanda, Nakia was - according to the Russos - deep undercover, off and away on secret missions and unable to help.
For Infinity War, her absence was fine, but when all her fellow Wakandans showed up to fight Thanos in the final stretch of Endgame, it's somewhat of a surprise that she wasn't there to fight beside her love and amongst her friends.
And while her absence ultimately doesn't rob the film of anything too crucial - and neither do the absences of any characters on this list - her inclusion would've made the Wakandan presence feel all the more complete, while giving the always welcome Lupita Nyong'o a little moment to shine, too.
