9. Elektra

Like Daredevil, Elektra's been fortunate enough to get an authentic and faithful portrayal on Marvel's Netflix series', and is poised to make a massive impact when The Defenders drops next month. This wasn't always the case however, and - as those unfortunate enough to have seen her 2005 big screen spin-off can attest - the character definitely used to have a hard run of things in live-action.
Whilst undoubtedly a more than capable actor, Jennifer Garner was miscast as the Greek assassin, and even then there was little to work with in the role. 2003's Daredevil had some notoriously cheesy dialogue (of which Garner was the main recipient), and the spin-off that featured the eponymous antihero did little to reinvigorate Fox's wildly misjudged stab at the Daredevil mythos.
We're just much better off with the Netflix series, really.
