11. It Will Basically Be Man Of Steel 2 (AKA Superman & Friends)

Before Zack Snyder made the shock announcement of Batman v Superman back at 2013's Comic-Con, it was widely expected that Superman's next on-screen foray would simply be Man of Steel. As such, that's taken something of a backseat, especially with the current slate of the DCEU being announced without a single standalone Superman movie. As for Batman v Superman, it's been confirmed by Snyder and others that the focus will be more on Batman than Supes, in large part because the movie really needs to familiarise audiences with Ben Affleck's new Batman, whereas, of course, Henry Cavill's already firmly rooted as the Man of Steel. As such, it's extremely likely if not damn certain that Justice League will tip the scales back the other way, evoking the feel of a Superman sequel...but with six of his friends coming along for the ride. Think of it in the same way that many of the X-Men movies plant Wolverine as the protagonist, whereas most of the other mutants are supporting characters (especially in the earlier X-Men films).
