11 Facts We Already Know About The New Justice League Movie

9. Zack Snyder Directs, Chris Terrio Writes

Zack Snyder is undeniably a controversial director, his movies more often than not being known as stylistic exercises without the requisite substance to back it up. His solid directing job on Man of Steel proved divisive, though in honesty that was more due to some of David S. Goyer's creative decisions than Snyder's approach, which was a little more restrained than the over-the-top slow-mo fests he's known for. Snyder is the most prominent creative force in the DCEU, considering that he's also directing Batman v Superman and will helm both Justice League films, hopefully ensuring that they at least have a consistent style and tone. More promising, though, is the decision to hire Oscar-winning Argo writer Chris Terrio to script both films, which occurred after Terrio was brought on to do some rewrites on Goyer's Batman v Superman script, and Warner liked his work so much they gave him this monumental gig. There's a lot of potential here for Terrio to iron out some of Snyder's excesses and give him a firm template for a much more satisfying pair of superhero movies, but we'll have to wait and see...
