11 Hilariously Expensive Direct To DVD Disasters

3. Bordertown

Theodore Rex Price
Capitol Films

Cost: $21m

Only released internationally in a move that might have had something to do with the deal to pay the New Mexico government 10% of all profits thanks to a loan the production company failed to pay back, this is another of those J-Lo films nobody has seen. It's based on some grisly unsolved murders and has some political aspirations, but nobody would ever know.

Is It Any Good?

It's mostly just confused and ends up compromising on some of the necessary complexity to hammer smash some of its messages (and its general murkiness) into the viewer's face.
