A haunted hotel, how original.

Dotted all over America there are supposedly haunted locations for you to stay in. There is the Queen Mary Cruise Ship in Los Angeles, Concord’s Colonial Inn in Massachusetts and, of course, The Stanley Hotel in Colorado.

For many amateur ghost hunters, a job at one of these haunts is a dream come true. Getting paid to mess around trying to find ghosts all day is everything they could of asked for. Those hotel employees may want to seek advice from the movie The Innkeepers.

A once glorious hotel, the Yankee Pedlar Inn is a week away from closing. And Claire and Luke, employees and ghost hunting enthusiasts, are desperate to capture some kind of spirit activity before the place is shut down.

But they're not the only ones set to go out with a bang. The hotel's resident ghost, Madeline O'Malley, just as distraught as the day she hung herself because of her fiancé leaving her, is also ready to make this week one to remember.

She torments the two teens working there with terrifying nightmares and spooky noises. She taunts a guest into killing himself and she quite literally scares Claire to death!

So next time any of you wannabe ghost hunters check for gig openings at The Stanley, take this movie as a warning.

Lily thought it was about time she wrote Top Ten lists for people other than herself. She also owes her dog a lot of money so she thought it was about time to pay her dues. There is no tv show she likes that she hasn't seen at least twice.
