Why We're Worried: The Halloween series has already been rebooted once with the ill-advised Rob Zombie treatment a decade ago, so the prospect of Danny McBride and David Gordon Green shocking it back to life once again is pretty dubious.

Why This Image Rocks: Shortly after it was announced that original star Jamie Lee Curtis had joined the cast of the movie - which will apparently function as a direct sequel to the original 1978 film - a photoshoot was released featuring a grey-haired Curtis on a faux-set for the film.

Though there are still so many question-marks surrounding the film, Curtis totally looks the part, and as long as she doesn't just show up to be quickly killed off in act one - again - she could help bring some much needed emotional resonance and history back to a franchise that lost its way long ago.
