10. Spider-Man Joins The Avengers

Of course, it goes without saying that Spider-Man will join the Avengers now that he's part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - and that opens up the possibilities of some great moments occurring on screen. Having aided the Avengers on numerous occasions and having flirted with the idea of joining them for years, Spider-Man was officially a member of a version of the team for the first time in New Avengers #15. He was announced to the world as part of their line-up alongside the likes of Captain America and Iron Man - and J. Jonah Jameson was present for the announcement. An iconic handshake between Jameson and Spidey took place - which would be great to see on screen - and the inevitable negative press that he gave the team following him joining them (something that the Avengers were actually concerned about prior to the official announcement) could have an interesting but damning effect on the live action incarnation.
