11 Marvel Comics Moments Now Possible With Spider-Man In The MCU

5. Spider-Man Unmasks

You probably anticipated this being at number one in the list, but no. Why? Well, first of all, because it would be too obvious and, second, because it's really not going to be that much of a big deal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (if indeed it does end up happening). In the comic books, Spider-Man initially sided with Tony Stark's pro-registration team in the Civil War event and was persuaded to unmask publicly by the billionaire hero. However, it was a huge deal because that version of the character had years of history behind him in which he had strove to keep Peter Parker a secret and for him to reveal his face to the world was huge. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man will essentially not even have existed prior to his possible unmasking, so who will actually care? Plus, secret identities aren't even a thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so, while this moment can now be portrayed in live action, its impact won't be anywhere near as big as it was in the comic books.
