10. Steve Buscemi Is Playing God

Steve Buscemi was made to play quirky outsiders. The kind of nerds who go to space, ride a nuclear warhead and contract "space dementia" while seeming almost professionally "not quite right." He's a great actor, but that's essentially what he's made a career out of doing.

In 2019, though, he's got his most unexpected role of all, which looks as brilliant as it is stunningly weird. Buscemi will be playing actual God in a workplace comedy set in Heaven in which Daniel Radcliffe also plays an angel. And by the look of it, his version of God is a bit of a doofus rather than the almighty image that's usually conjured up by the err... Almighty.

Boasting an aging rockstar with the keys to the Playboy mansion look with an outfit more befitting the Big Lebowski than the Big Kahuna of Heaven, he's definitely going to be completely different to every image we've ever seen of God on TV. The Church are said to be delighted at the prospect. Probably.
