7. The Next X-Men Movie May Adapt The Dark Phoenix Saga
Rumours this week suggest that the X-Men movie following Apocalypse will adapt The Dark Phoenix Saga, a beloved comic in which Jean Grey is possessed by an evil force which turns her against the X-Men, cementing her as one of their greatest foes.
This was of course attempted in half-a**ed fashion in X-Men: The Last Stand, though with Bryan Singer presumably returning to the helm once again, the odds are much stronger for a success.
That said, we're a little worried that the next movie focuses on Jean Grey, considering how hilariously awful Sophie Turner's American accent appears to be in the Apocalypse trailers. If she doesn't fix it up, this could prove majorly distracting in a movie where she's the focal character.
