3. Batman V Superman's Deleted Scene Teases Steppenwolf

Mere days after Batman V Superman hit cinemas, Warner Bros. released a deleted scene from the film, which showed Lex Luthor being arrested, but not before we caught a glimpse of another monster from the Kryptonian index, which appeared to heavily resemble the villain Steppenwolf. Though it's entirely possible that this scene was removed because it's just a tease and Steppenwolf won't actually appear in Justice League, it's hard not to read into what it could mean for the DECU's future. Also, did Zack Snyder really think that the theatrical cut needed a pointless Jonathan Kent hallucination rather than this?
