Already revealed as a part of the original wave of Disney+ announcements, updates had been light on the upcoming Cassian Andor spin-off, with Lucasfilm leaving it until this week to reveal more about the series.

Coming from Rogue One and Bourne Identity alum Tony Gilroy, Andor will spotlight Diego Luna's eponymous Rebel spy during the dark days of the Empire, with Alan Tudyk also reprising his role as reprogrammed Imperial security droid K-2SO.

The series is currently filming in London and Lucasfilm also provided fans with a behind-the-scenes tease of the show, which revealed new cast members and concept art.

The series will stream on Disney+ in 2022, with 12 episodes already confirmed.
