11 Perfectly Obvious Casting Choices Hollywood Is Ignoring

11. Jon Hamm As SupermanHamm Superman When Warner Brothers announced that it was looking to cast a new Superman, many were convinced that there could be no more perfect a choice than Mad Men's Don Draper, Jon Hamm. The sharp dressed, slick black haired Hamm is an obvious choice to play a striking if slightly older Clark Kent and the Sterling Cooper offices could just as easily be the Daily Planet Bullpen. Take Mr. Draper, mess his hair a little and add some black rimmed glasses and there's your Clark Kent, without too much effort. Hamm would have represented an opportunity to introduce an older, established Superman, eradicating the need to yet again reboot a superhero character whose origin story is as well-versed with even casual fans as his iconic outfit - and we could, rather irresistibly have had a World's Finest era Superman, opposite an older Batman. We'll never know exactly why this obvious choice was overlooked - presumably because of Zak Snyder's decision to reboot rather than skip forward in time - but there are definitely those that weren't convinced by Henry Cavill and believe that Hamm can fly.
