When science merges with myth as it does in the Thor comics, readers are always in for a treat. Such is the case with the myth of Mjolnir mixing with the science of alchemy. Sure, it may not make practical sense, but Thor’s hammer has the ability to manipulate the elements of Earth and it’s always insanely cool when it happens.
