11 Things We Learned From Quentin Tarantino On Joe Rogan Experience

7. A Once Upon A Time Super Cut?

Ever since Once Upon a Time in Hollywood made its way to the silver screen in 2019, there have been rumblings that there is a ridiculously-long extended cut of the picture - with those rumblings having recently been stirred up once more thanks to the release of Quentin Tarantino's novelisation of the film.

When the picture made its way to theaters, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood clocked in at two hours and 40 minutes. But there is plenty more that could have been shown to audiences.

Far from the 20-hour cut of the picture that some had half-jokingly speculated, Tarantino's appearance alongside Joe Rogan saw him confirm that, if he was allowed the freedom, there would be a cut of the film that would comfortably run over three hours.

"If I were to cut the film where, like, time was not an issue. So not to throw every piece of s**t in there, but if time is not an issue and I can use all the footage that I shot and don't have to worry about time, it would probably be, like, three hours and 20 minutes or something like that."

When told by Rogan that he should do something with this would-be super cut of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino said, "I might".

So you're telling us there's a chance...?
