7. Brian Tyree Henry

Bryan Tyree Henry is another actor who's been on the verge of becoming a household name for several years now.

He's received consistent acclaim for his role as Paper Boi in FX's hit show Atlanta, and over the last two years has had memorable roles in Widows, If Beatle Street Could Talk, and Joker.

But full-out blockbuster exposure has mostly alluded him, though that's all set to change over the next 12 months.

Henry is set to appear in three major movies in 2020, the first being the potentially star-making Marvel Cinematic Universe movie The Eternals, where he will play inventor Phastos.

He also has a role in Godzilla vs. Kong, and even though the MonsterVerse movies have a tendency to give talented actors piecemeal roles, it'll still give him a massively elevated profile with international audiences.

And finally, Henry also has a major role in next year's new Melissa McCarthy comedy Superintelligence, where he'll play McCarthy's best friend.

On the classier side of things, he's also playing a detective in Joe Wright's upcoming drama The Woman in the Window, appearing opposite Amy Adams.

Between all this and the possibility that Atlanta's third season might finally drop before the end of 2020, it's going to be a great year for Henry's visibility.
