12 Actors Who Did Career Worst Work In 2016

10. Gerard Butler (God's Of Egypt & London Has Fallen)

Gerard Butler has been in a ton of bad movies over the years, and it certainly takes something special to top the awfulness of his dual role as "Leprechaun 1 & 2" in 2013's ensemble comedy Movie 43.

Butler had a terrible 2016, though, first playing the villainous God Set in the hilariously terrible Gods of Egypt, hamming it up for the cheap seats while working uphill against risible visual effects and a napkin-scrawled screenplay.

Then there was London Has Fallen, where Butler reprised his bada** Secret Service agent role without making a dent, and having the misfortune of uttering probably the year's most offensive one-liner (he tells a terrorist, "Why don't you pack up your s*** and head back to F***headistan or wherever it is you're from?").

It's almost enough to make you wish he'd start starring in bland romantic comedies again. Almost.
