12 Actors Who Did Career Worst Work In 2016

Though Ben Foster gave arguably the best performance of his career this year in the terrific neo-western Hell or High Water, this was balanced out by his also giving a rare horrible turn as sorcerer Medivh in Warcraft, easily his worst to date.

Though Warcraft fanboys might simply marvel at getting to see Medivh appear in live-action form, Foster gives a totally miscalculated performance, clearly misjudging the film's tone completely as he makes a joke out of the character, perhaps acutely aware he's appearing in a terrible movie for an easy payday.

Director Duncan Jones can probably get some of the blame for not reining Foster in a little, but at least his staggeringly bad work adds some amusement to an otherwise depressingly dour outing.
