5. Ellen Page (Flatliners)

As with Jennifer Jason Leigh in Amityville, it's hard to understand exactly what attracted the brilliant Ellen Page to this dispassionate retread of the 1990 cult classic horror film.

Reimagined as an exceptionally low-rent, generic horror film, the new Flatliners does no favours for any of its cast, but especially Page, who gives easily the flattest, least-fussed performance of her entire career.

This is pretty much the first outright dud movie she's ever appeared in, forced to chew through exposition and not really do much else. At least she doesn't have to stick it out to the very end of the movie, though, as she randomly dies at the end of the second act.
