12 Amazing Feats Of Physical Strength By Comic Book Movie Heroes

9. Spider-Man Holds Up A Tram (Spider-Man)

Spider Man Tram Towards the end of the first Spider-Man movie, the titular hero's nemesis - the Green Goblin - holds Spider-Man's love interest Mary Jane and a Roosevelt Island Tram car full of children hostage alongside the Queensboro Bridge in New York City. The Goblin forces Spider-Man to choose who he wants to save - Mary Jane or the children - and drops them both from the bridge to the ground far below. Spider-Man manages to save both Mary Jane and the tram car full of kids, while the Goblin is pelted by civilians showing loyalty to Spider-Man. Spidey has to use his webbing and his raw strength to hold the tram up for a short time, before safely placing it down.
