4. Thing Holds Up The London Eye (Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer)

Ben Grimm London Eye When the Silver Surfer arrives on Earth in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, he begins preparing it for consumption by his master - Galactus - by creating deep artificial craters all around the globe. When Reed Richards calculates that the next crater will appear in London, England, the Fantastic Four travel there in an attempt to stop it. They arrive too late to stop the crater, which drains the River Thames, but they manage to prevent the London Eye from crashing down as a result of it. It's a team effort, with Sue Storm using her forcefield and Reed Richards using his elastic body to reinforce it, but there are a couple of moments where Ben Grimm - the Thing - hoists it up by himself. With the London Eye weighing in at 2,100 tonnes (and being full of people at the time), that's no mean feat at all.
