12 Awesome Movies You Can Only Watch Once

1. Dear Zachary: A Letter To A Son About His Father

Why It's Awesome: Kurt Kuenne's soul-crushingly bleak documentary serves as a tribute to his murdered friend Andrew Bagby, though focuses primarily on the man's psychopathic girlfriend, who subsequently reveals she is pregnant with Andrew's son, and well, you're going to need some tissues. To say anymore than that would ruin the visceral shock of this heartbreaking film, yet rest assured that, with the movie unfolding much like a true-crime expose, you'll be disgusted, appalled and pained in your deepest recesses by this masterfully-compiled doc. Why You Can Only Watch It Once: It's just too painful, plain and simple. Though it doesn't fall into many of the trappings of the previous films mentioned (it's short, to the point and features no objectionable material), the nature of the tale is just too devastating to want to experience it more than once. It's a film many will recommend to their friends (with the aforementioned tissue warning), though won't be able to bring themselves to view with them. Considering that even mere mention of the movie's title gets us welling up, we'd probably be in a flood of tears by the time the opening credits were done. Watch it yourself and see why this took our #1 spot, though have a tub of ice cream and a fluffy kitten ready for the aftermath. We're just saying.
