12 Awkward Moments That Must Have Happened After Avengers: Endgame

3. Black Panther Asks For The Wakandan Crown Back

It's surprising just how little is said in Endgame about the state of Wakanda during the five-year dusting period, especially as Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) was the King of Wakanda and all. Surely this would throw the country into a bit of disarray?

Many originally assumed that T'Challa's sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) would simply take his place, but she ultimately ended up being a victim of the snap also.

The most logical assumption is probably that M'Baku (Winston Duke) survived the snap and presided over Wakanda in his absence, or that given the extenuating circumstances of the snap, T'Challa's mother Ramonda (Angela Bassett) would be allowed to rule in his absence.

While Ramonda clearly wouldn't have any qualms about giving the crown back to her son upon his return, things would surely be a tad more awkward in the case of M'Baku or another unknown figure.

Granted, M'Baku proved himself to be an unexpectedly reasonable ally to T'Challa in Black Panther, so perhaps he'd simply be happy to have him (and all his own Jabari tribesmen) back.
