11. Owen Is The Obnoxious Kid From Jurassic Park - Jurassic World
The Theory: Remember that punk kid from the original Jurassic Park who told Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) that the raptor bones made it look like "a 6 foot turkey", before Grant scared the living bajesus out of him with a raptor claw and told him to "show a little respect"? Well, Community creator Dan Harmon first floated the idea that the kid went on to become Jurassic World's protagonist, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), who even mentions in the movie that his work with the raptors is "a relationship based on respect". Why It's Awesome: It's a fun way to link Jurassic World to the original movies, considering how in many ways it otherwise feels like a standalone quasi-reboot (with some nostalgic flourishes, of course). How Likely Is It?: 4/10. It's one of those brilliant possibilities that was likely never intentional and so will never be cleared up by anyone related to Jurassic World: writer-director Colin Trevorrow flat-out refused to comment either way because he said the theory was so much fun.
