12 Biggest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of 2016

1. Gods Of Egypt

And as perversely enjoyable as these 11 movies were, not one can quite match up to the inspired idiocy of Gods of Egypt.

A $140 million fantasy epic positioned by Lionsgate as their next big franchise now that the Young Adult well is drying up, this is basically The Room of Hollywood blockbusters.

If you thought Jupiter Ascending was bad, consider that it at least had impressive visual effects and stylish action sequences. Gods of Egypt is a car crash of atrocious CGI, weird robot-God fight scenes surely thought up by a 10-year-old boy, howlingly bad performances and even worse dialogue.

It is a genuinely entertaining film in all of it awfulness, though, and not one you'll need to force yourself to enjoy like so many apparently "so-bad-it's-good" films. It's almost good-bad enough you might even lament it bombing at the box office, as we could've actually had more of these incredible, epic works of garbage.
