5. Why Did Thanos Think Ultron Was Working For Him?
And sticking with Thanos, at the end of Age Of Ultron, the stinger sees the Mad Titan putting the Infinity Gauntlet on for a fan-baiting Infinity Wars tease. Except, when he says, "fine, I'll do it myself", the timing seems to suggest that since Ultron has failed to "do it", Thanos will have to do so himself. But that makes no sense, right? Thanos never actually had a dog in this particularly fight.
There's no way he could have been working with Ultron, since he literally just came into existence, and he was using an Infinity Stone for himself rather than giving it to his master as presumably he'd be instructed. So who the hell has failed Thanos this time? Or has he just lost the plot entirely?
The Titan is an idiot anyway: he already had two Stones within his grasp, since Loki had one in his staff and Ronan used one to empower himself, and yet he's comically exasperated that everyone keeps failing to bring him them. The big purple moron.
