6. The Second Infinity Gauntlet
For a while, the Infinity Gauntlet spotted in the background of Thor was the best MCU Easter Egg of all. It was a clever nod to the forthcoming Infinity Saga storyline, and a concrete suggestion that Marvel really were planning the MCU back from day one.
But then they had to go and spoil it by having Thanos recover his actual Infinity Gauntlet from somewhere entirely different (as if he had it in his possession all along) in Age Of Ultron. Putting aside the fact that the revelation robbed us of a potential scene where Thanos would attack Asgard, it also meant Kevin Feige then had to come out and say there were actually two. It then transpired that one of them - presumably the one in Odin's vault complete with Stones - was actually fake all along, making Asgard's mightiest ruler look like a right idiot.
But even if both are real, why the hell would anyone go to the extreme of making two? If it's fake, it needs a backstory to establish why Odin was duped (and why Thor isn't aware of the Infinity Stones that his own dad thinks are in his house), and if it's real it requires even more thinking. Why makes TWO weapons capable of killing all of existence? In case one is misplaced? Making them easy to make and acquire robs the whole thing of power.
Plus, it's decidedly uncharacteristic of supervillains to be that vigilant and prepared.
