Why She Should Die: Because as much as the first film invested audiences in the relationship between Wade Wilson and Vanessa, she ultimately became your typical comic book damsel-in-distress by movie's end, and honestly, does the sequel really need to keep her around?

With Negasonic Teenage Warhead and new arrival Domino likely proving to be far more compelling heroines, Vanessa can be killed off without depriving audiences of a great female character.

Furthermore, with Deadpool 2 introducing time-traveling mutant Cable, they can probably just pull some timeline shenanigans in the future to bring her back anyway. It's not like it'd be a first for the X-Men franchise.

How She'll Die: Presumably murdered at the hands of the film's main villain, widely reported to be Black Tom Cassidy, who can manipulate energy through the use of plants.

Whether it'll happen in act one or act three is hard to judge, but either way, it's sure going to give Wade some savage motivation.
