10. Falcon - Captain America: The Winter Soldier

The best tease in the marketing for Captain America: The Winter Soldier so far has been the glimpse of Black Widow and Cap mourning a dead body under a white sheet, causing the Internet to go crazy speculating who it might be. There are a few possibilities: could it be Robert Redford's S.H.I.E.L.D. leader, Alexander Pierce? Could it be Nick Fury? What about Anthony Mackie's Falcon? Pierce is unlikely given some of the plot details that have already leaked out about his character, and Fury already looks pretty beat up in the trailer, so it's also unlikely. What the opening 10 minutes of the movie posted online this week have made clear is that the relationship between Cap and Falcon is going to be a lynch-pin of the movie, and given how easily they seem to bond, it would make sense that they're all majorly upset about his demise, possibly during his mid-air battle against The Winter Soldier we've seen featured in the trailers. He'll go out like a hero, no doubt, and it could be one of the year's best blockbuster moments.
