12 Directors Who Have Never Made A Bad Movie

11. David Fincher

Unlike some of the other directors on this list, David Fincher has come close to ruining his flawless streak on more than one occasion. Hell, his debut feature, Alien 3, was famously troubled, to the point where the director barely ever brings it up when talking about his filmography, while the likes of Panic Room and The Game don't quite do his talents justice.

Still, these are far from bad movies, and although they don't hit the iconic highs of Fight Club, Se7en, and even Gone Girl, very few films can. His lowest points still make for great viewing, jam-packed with interesting ideas and propped up by an intensely engaging directing style that has the ability to elevate material even as daft as the needlessly-convoluted plot of The Game.

Despite not releasing classic after classic, Fincher has been able to cultivate a sickly-but-stylish oeuvre of thrillers, and although he isn't flawless, is still is yet to make an outright terrible movie.
