4. You Mean Written, Right? - Into The Wild
I fail to see how this was allowed. It genuinely baffles the mind that "screenplay and directed by Sean Penn" sounded right in the head of the person who typed it out. I get the issue:
Into The Wild was based on a book, so they had to find a way of saying that the screenplay was written by Sean Penn as well as the movie being directed by the man, too. But this... this is insane. You could argue into the intricacies of whether or not this is actually a grammatical error, but the problem is that "screenplay" is a noun and directed is a past-tense verb, and they just clash horribly. I don't know how a sane person could read that and not cringe at the wording.
