12 Giant Plot-Holes You Didn’t Notice In 2015’s Biggest Movies
7. The Reverse Cheat Code - Pixels
Perhaps it's a little bit silly looking for complete logic in an Adam Sandler/Kevin James movie in which the latter is the President Of The United States (still a better candidate than Trump), but there's no excuse for stupidity. Pixels is all about retro video games and expert players, so you'd expect it to be bang on about its video game knowledge. In that respect it's strange to see how much they break their own rules during the PacMan attack when Peter Dinklage puts a cheat code in to make the ghost cars super speed. There are a number of issues here: firstly, where the hell does he put the cheat code in? He's driving a car. Secondly, why would the aliens respond to cheat codes? They're alien creations based on a video of a tournament, they never had access to the games themselves, so they'd have no awareness of cheat codes even existing. And most of all, the cheat code in Pac-Man should control the hero, not the villains. So why would there be a code that speeded up the ghosts?!
