12 Hidden Horror Movies You’ve Probably Never Seen
1. Mohawk

With a script written by genre author/ My Best Friend's Exorcism scribe Grady Hendrix, 2017's Mohawk is a tense, bleak, and beautiful action horror which deserves to be more widely seen.
Directed by Ted Geogehan of We Are Still Here fame, this politically charged horror follows an indigenous woman's bloody swathe of seemingly supernatural revenge in early nineteenth century America. As she slices through a cadre of terrified, helpless British soldiers, the heroine becomes more of an immortal symbol than a violent, vengeance fuelled protagonist, and the film switches genres deftly into supernatural horror for a barnstorming, terrifying but ultimately cathartic closing sequence.
