12 Horror Movie Idiots Who Caused Their Own Doom

Jay is the final girl from It Follows, the suspenseful indie flick that revolves around a mysterious entity that begins following you after you have sex with someone who it had been following before. The entity can take any shape it wants and, though it can only follow by walking, can only be shaken off by passing it on to someone else by sleeping with them.

Jay makes this list for a couple of reasons. First off, her final plan of killing the entity by luring it into a swimming pool was never, ever going to work. Not only does she ask her friends to shoot blindly at the water, and indirectly her, but the gang also leave a load of electrical equipment lying around for the entity to freely lob at her.

Also, the final shot of the film shows Jay and her boyfriend Paul walking down a street, with a strange man following behind. Either Jay has decided to keep the entity following her, or she's happily let her new boyfriend take the burden and potentially be killed by the creature now following him.
