While Deadpool's sequel(s) likely won't go the Bay route of reaching an absurdly high $1.124 billion peak with 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, it's entirely possible that a second Deadpool film could top the second Transformer movie's $836.3 million cume. Even if not, it's damn impressive that Deadpool took on the primer for one of the most successful movie franchises in history, and narrowly beat it out. Bay must be frothing at the mouth that his own R-rated ventures (Bad Boys, The Rock, Pain and Gain and 13 Hours) can't reach anywhere near this financial high.
