5. The Legion Of Monsters
It's a shame that this team are from Marvel Comics and not DC, because they'd make great opponents for the Justice League Dark. This would make for a very, very different comic book movie that would be much more like a Hammer Horror, but there's no doubting that it has the potential to be awesome. The most recent version of the Legion of Monsters came together to protect monsters from those who were out to hunt them (whether they were "good" monsters or not) and their members include Morbius the Living Vampire, FrankenCastle, Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing, N'Kantu the Living Mummy and Manphibian - each of whom fulfil a different horror archetype (vampire, Frankenstein's Monster, werewolf, swamp monster, Mummy and merman). Quite how they'd fit in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is open to debate, but it would certainly work as a standalone movie.
