Weight Gain: 33 pounds

Thanks in part to Henry Cavill's hulking Mark Twight-sponsored bulk as Superman, Ben Affleck was forced to hit the gym heavily when he was cast as Batman for Batman v Superman. After all, he needed to look like a superhero capable of taking on the Man of Steel in open combat and not being squashed like a bug.

It was also pretty necessary to get big to cope with the costume requirements, as the Batsuit alone weighed 75 pounds. And Affleck took to bulking like a duck to water: when he made The Town, he weighed 198 pounds, but by the time Batman v Superman came around, at his heaviest, he was up to 231, with 7.7% body fat. They evetually cut him to 225 for the final film, but that's a serious weight.

And it's fair to say there's never been a Batman who looked as impressive as him.
