The biggest question revolving around Captain America: Civil War was whether or not Marvel Studios would actually go through with Captain America's (Chris Evans) death, as happened in the source comic.

Ultimately, Cap survived, likely because his death would've seemed too obvious, but imagine what an emotionally galling cliffhanger it would've been if it turned out Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) had secretly programmed Bucky (Sebastian Stan) to assassinate Cap at an opportune moment, likely at the end of the Cap-Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) fight?

Fans wanted to see it, and while Cap could easily still be killed off in Infinity War as Chris Evans' contractual commitments come to an end, it would've been an undeniably dark capper to the MCU's most thoughtful movie to date.

Which movie moments made your inner-fanboy rage-out the most this past year? Shout them out in the comments!
