12 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (Feb 21)

3. Bond 25 Has Been Delayed To Late 2018

It seems like a rumour emerges every other week that Daniel Craig has definitely quit the James Bond franchise, and his replacement has already been sought. This was renewed once again when it emerged that Craig has signed on to star in 20-part TV series Purity, derailing Bond producers' plans to get another Bond film shooting before the end of the year for a late 2017 release. As it turns out, unsurprisingly considering that Craig still has one movie left on his contract, the producers are instead acquiescing to Craig and delaying Bond 25 by one year, meaning that shooting will likely kick off near the end of 2017 for a late 2018 bow. Given the mess that was Spectre, rushing things would have been a terrible idea, so hopefully this will give the minds behind the series some much-needed breathing room as they try to figure out the next step.
