What happens: Ellen Ripley has, at last, escaped from the living nightmare/top-notch cinematic spectacle that was the first Alien film. After drifting through space for a little bit she gets picked up and taken care of by a bunch of jerks that don't believe her crazy story about an alien with two mouths that killed the rest of her crew (and that one time they mistook her cat for it).
