12 Best Movie Dream Sequences (And What They Mean)

10. Aliens

What happens: Ellen Ripley has, at last, escaped from the living nightmare/top-notch cinematic spectacle that was the first Alien film. After drifting through space for a little bit she gets picked up and taken care of by a bunch of jerks that don't believe her crazy story about an alien with two mouths that killed the rest of her crew (and that one time they mistook her cat for it). She's a little messed up by the experience, which reaches a fever pitch when she dreams of a chestburster bursting out of her...chest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvEmC1Bkyqc What it means: "To dream that you are being invaded or abducted by aliens indicates your fear of your changing surroundings or your fear of losing your home and family. You feel that your space and/or privacy is being invaded." Right well you've not really got this one, Dream Mood. It's more that she's literally scared of being "invaded" by aliens. Come on now.
