2. Rocky Dies In Adrian's Arms After The Final Fight - Rocky V
When an aging Sylvester Stallone put on that grey tracksuit and ran up those Philadelphia museum stairs one last time in 2006's Rocky Balboa, it was a fitting and satisfying send off to one of cinema's greatest icons. But had Stallone stuck to his original plan, Rocky V would've been the final chapter in the Italian Stallion's story. The original ending had Rocky beating Tommy Gunn in a street fight before succumbing to his injuries and dying in Adrian's arms shortly after. This was the plan right up until the end of shooting when Stallone and the studio started having last minute second thoughts. After realising that Rocky is perseverance personified and having him die so unceremoniously would render the whole series moot, Stallone decided to scrap that original ending and keep Rocky alive. Based on all the stuff released about the soon-to-be-released Rocky-spin-off, the 'Rocky dies' storyline may be rearing its head again. But with Stallone now an old man and the talented Michael B. Jordan taking the reins as Apollo Creed's son, perhaps now is the time for Rocky to go.

My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
You can follow me at @Fry_ying_pan but don't be offended if I don't tweet back. It's usually because I've spent too long trying to think up a witty response that the reply window has closed.
